We have a curriculum that is diverse and constantly being evaluated and scrutinized in order to provide the best resident education and meet ACGME Requirements. The “Curriculum Summary” tab is a summary of our current curriculum. We also have an annual Residency Review. The Residency Review is where residents and faculty get together offsite for two days (without clinical responsibilities) to discuss the curriculum and ways to improve it.
Based on resident and faculty feedback, we are always adding things to the curriculum to not only enhance education, but to enhance team building and comradery. One of the fun things we added to our curriculum in 2016-2017 is a Residency Retreat. All three class years have a protected day away from clinical responsibilities to choose a fun activity for the entire class to encourage comradery and team building skills (and, of course, fun). Please see the second tab for details on this year’s retreats.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
